Beaver County Council Member's Expense Reimbursement

Council members are encouraged to submit expense claims on a monthly basis.

Expense claims are the amounts members of Council are entitled to claim under the terms of the Councillor Remuneration Policy.

Councillors are also entitled to claim for mileage travelled to County-related meetings/events at a rate of 55 cents per kilometer (the Provincial rate set by the Canada Revenue Agency). Due to the large geographic area within Beaver County's municipal boundaries, the mileage claims vary substantially as they are dependent on the location of each Councillor's residence.

Administration will post the expense claims and time sheets after they are processed at the end of each month, with a deadline of the 15th of the following month.
