Community Adult Learning

Beaver County Community Adult Learning Council (CALC) is committed to supporting and promoting lifelong learning to enrich peoples' lives in our communities - Beaver County, the Towns of Tofield and Viking, and the Villages of Ryley and Holden.

We have three main programs that offer learning opportunities:

Adult  Learning Courses for adults interested in learning new skills and keeping active.

Adult Literacy Programs for adults that need assistance with improving their reading, writing and math, and for students with low literacy skills or English-as-a-Second Language difficulties

Family Literacy Programs for parents and children (newborn to 6) that encourage reading and activities to encourage early literacy and language skill development.

For information about current programs and courses offered, contact Cheryl Lawson, CALC Coordinator, (780) 663-3730 or email calc@beaver.ab.ca
