BRAED (Battle River Alliance for Economic Development) and the ACSRC (Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities) are working together to execute a three-day learning commons focused on rural economic and community development. This commons is a great opportunity for Councilors, Mayors, CAOs, EDOs, Community Development Professionals, and Students from across the province to engage in various rural focused topics, such as; community and economic development, sustainability planning, social policy, parks and protected areas, continuing care, recruitment and retention, business succession, water sustainability, aboriginal relations and the changing agricultural landscape. Listen to speakers from all across Canada and develop a strong foundation in rural community and economic development.
