Beaver County requires a full-time Heavy Duty Mechanic for its Transportation Services Shop in Ryley, Alberta. This position involves repair and maintenance of trucks, graders and other municipal equipment. Applicants should be self-motivated, able to work independently and possess an Alberta Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate. Apprentices may also be considered at apprenticeship rates. (Note: The County offers incentive packages for the apprenticeship program.) Hours of work are: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Salary range will be $67,163 to $81,702 per annum ($32.29 to $39.28 per hour) and will include a full benefit compensation package. Applications will be accepted until a suitable candidate is found.
