Important Information for Grain Haulers During Road Bans

Posted on

Due to the serious need to allow movement of grain to market, the County has adjusted its road ban to streamline approvals to haul grain during road bans.

A person wishing to haul over posted axle load limits can call the County office (780-663-3730) during regular working hours (8:30 am - 4:30 pm) from Monday to Friday. After hours and on weekends, haulers can contact Roadata at 1-888-444-9288. Please ensure you state that you are hauling grain and provide the name of the person or business that is hauling the grain. Provide a contact phone number, the route required to move the grain and the proposed date and time of the move.

There will be no charge from either Roadata or Beaver County for receiving permission to move the grain. If you have contacted Roadata recently and were charged a fee for a permit to haul grain, that fee will be reimbursed.

Thank you.
