BEAVER COUNTY FIRE ADVISORY

A fire advisory is in effect for Beaver County effective May 13, 2019.

The fire advisory only allows for recreational fires in fire pits, approved fire pits within recognized campgrounds and parks; propane and natural gas appliances.

No other fires are permitted until further notice.

Fire permits are suspended until the advisory is lifted. Failure to comply with the fire advisory and the fire bylaw may result in a fine of not less than $500.00 and not more than $5,000.00 plus costs. Any changes to the fire advisory will be announced on the Alberta Fire Ban and Beaver Emergency Services Commission website, Facebook.

Beaver Emergency Services Commission will continue to monitor the situation, and will update the public when conditions change.
