Blowdown Notification

The County has received notification from TC Energy that it intends to conduct “blowdowns” on its natural gas pipeline in SE 2-49-13-W4.  The blowdowns are necessary to release natural gas so that maintenance work can be performed on TC Energy’s facilities.

The timeframe for the blowdowns and maintenance activities is August 11 – 24, 2021.  If you live near the blowdown area, you may hear a loud roaring sound for approximately 15 minutes each time natural gas is released.
