Calls for Proposals under the Enabling Accessibility Fund

The Calls for Proposals under the Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF) program has been launched this week. This CFP funds capital projects aims to help increase the physical accessibility of community spaces and workspaces.

Service Canada will be accepting applications from organizations that wish to receive funding under the following components:

Mid-sized projects (open from June 4, 2021 to July 29, 2021)

This component of the EAF aims to create more opportunities for people with disabilities to use programs, services, participate in community activities or access employment opportunities. Eligible organizations can apply for a minimum of $350,000 and a maximum of $1,000,000 for projects that will:

  • improve accessibility and safety for persons with disabilities in Canadian communities and workplaces, and 
  • increase access to programs, services or employment opportunities that focus on a holistic approach in addressing the social or labour market integration needs of persons with disabilities. 

The call is open until July 29, 2021.

Projects must be ready to start on or after April 1, 2022 and must be completed by March 31, 2024.
