Campground Update

Posted on

With news about Covid 19 constantly developing, Beaver County is continuing to follow recommendations established for Provincial campgrounds by the Province and Alberta Health Services.

On Friday June 12th, 2020, the campgrounds moved forward as part of Alberta’s COVID-19 Stage 2 Relaunch and reopened most of the sites that were previously closed, with the exception of group camping sites.

Playgrounds and Beaches are now open.

Day use is now open at both campgrounds.

Day fishing will now be allowed.

Public showers and cook houses/picnic shelters will remain closed at this time.

Our priority is still the health & safety of our guests and staff as well as our community. Please use caution when camping and using our facilities, we ask that you continue to social distance and wash your hands.

  • Do not enter the campground if you are experiencing symptoms including cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose or sore throat that are not related to a pre-existing illness or health condition, or are otherwise required to isolate or quarantine.
  • Members of the same household should stay together on a campsite.
  • Please bring alcohol-based sanitizer for hand hygiene when soap and water are not available (e.g. on a hike).

Thank you for your continued support, stay safe & be kind.
