ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

WE’RE LOOKING FOR CHAMPIONS!

Are you interested in attraction and retention of business and tourism in Beaver County?
Beaver County Council has established an Economic Development Advisory Committee to
consider matters related to economic development and diversification and is recruiting members with experience or familiarity in the following areas:

 Agri-business or agri-tourism
 Tourism
 Small business
 Commerce
 Industry
 Energy
 Community development
 Economic development

As a Committee member, you will provide advice to Council on County policies and programs, suggest potential economic directives, and network/champion development and growth opportunities. Click here to view a copy of the Economic Development Advisory Committee bylaw.

The Committee will consist of up to 5 members from the public-at-large with appointment terms of 2 or 3 years. Meetings will be held quarterly and members will be paid a remuneration and travel expenses. Click here to view a copy of the Economic Development Advisory Committee Policy.
