ERROR ON TAX NOTICES

The County has recently been made aware of an error on the tax notices.  The date for the January penalty reads “January 16, 2021” instead of “January 18, 2022”.

The error does not render the tax notices invalid.  Payment is still due by November 1, 2021 to avoid a 6% late payment penalty.  Unpaid taxes after November 1, 2021 are due by January 17, 2022 to avoid the second late payment penalty of an additional 3%.
