Fire Restriction in Effect

Effective April 28, 2023 at 11:30 hours, Beaver Emergency Services Commission has enacted a Fire Restriction.

The fire restriction prohibits all open-air burning. All open-air fire permits are now suspended and no new fire permits will be issued while the fire restriction is in effect.

Please extinguish all previously permitted fires and check recently burned brush piles to ensure they are extinguished completely.

Campfires in a BESC approved container with a mesh screen are still permitted providing they are continuously attended and have an adequate water supply available.

Only firewood or charcoal are to be burned. Applications for an approved fire pit are available on the BESC website.
