Strathcona County- Transmission Line Leak Repair
There is a leak on the Transmission line in Strathcona County. Preparations are underway to repair this leak. The tentative date for the repair is to begin on March 9th, 2023. This leak could take up to 24 hours to complete. During this time there could be an interruption of water supply to reservoirs and rural customers. The Commission will attempt to have all urban reservoirs topped off prior to starting the repair. Rural customers should make necessary arrangements for their water supply during this time. The Commission’s 6 truck fills will be open during this time. We request that all customers conserve water during this time until notification is given by the Commission that the line has been repaired. Please check our website for further updates.
