Rain and Roads

Posted on
Yay for the rain! But here's a heads up for our residents:

While we're grateful for the much-needed moisture, the rain might impact our roads, causing washouts, plugged or collapsed culverts, and soft spots. We understand the inconvenience and want to assure you that we're on it—but there's a catch.

Blading the roads during wet conditions can cause more harm than good. It actually damages the road more, so we must wait until the rain stops and the roads begin to dry out before making repairs. Our hands are tied until then, but we're prepared to act as soon as weather allows!

Spotted a problem? Please report it via the Report a problem tool. This helps us schedule repairs more efficiently once the weather permits.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Together, we'll keep our roads safe and navigable!
