Fire Advisory in Effect

Even after all the rain we received, the heat is causing things to dry out quickly.

Effective Tuesday July 9, 2024, Beaver Emergency Services Commission declared a FIRE ADVISORY for all Municipalities in Beaver County.

This Fire Advisory:
– Prohibits any large burns with brush piles/logs. Those projects should be completed during the late fall/winter months.
– Previous permit holders should re-visit their burn sites to ensure extinguishment and ensure all fire breaks are in place.

The following are ALLOWED during this Fire Advisory:
– Burning barrels equipped with a metal mesh screen.
– Safe wood campfires in approved fire pits on private lands and in campgrounds.
– Portable propane fire pits.
– Gas or propane stoves and barbeques, including briquettes.
– Catalytic or infrared style heaters
– Pellet style electric smokers.
