HWY 834 Weight Restriction

Alberta Transportation has placed weight restrictions on Highway 834 south of Township Road 492 (Amisk Creek Bridge, near Round Hill):

  • Single truck: Max 11 tonnes
  • Semi-trailer: Max 19 tonnes
  • B-train: Max 25 tonnes

Trucks exceeding these limits must use alternate routes.

This is not a County road, but we’ll share any updates from the Province on a resolution or detour options as soon as we receive them.

As with all provincial roads Alberta 511 is the best source for up to date info.
