Voter Information

How to Vote

Advance Vote:

  • Division 1 and 2: October 14, 2025, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Tofield Golden Club
  • Divisions 3 and 4: October 15, 2025, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Holden Seniors Club
  • Division 5: October 16, 2025, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viking Seniors Club
  • Divisions 1-5: October 14-17, 2025, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Beaver County Service Centre

Election Day

Monday, October 20, 2025. Hours of voting are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Voting stations:
    • Division 1: Lindbrook Community Hall and Tofield Community Hall
    • Division 2: Spilstead Community Hall and Tofield Community Hall
    • Division 3: Ryley Legion
    • Division 4: Bruce Community Hall
    • Division 5: Kinsella Community Hall and Viking Seniors Club

Special Ballot

If you are unable to vote at an Advance Vote or on Election Day you may request a Special Ballot (aka mail-in ballot). You can request your application between 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on September 24, 2025, and 4:30 p.m. on October 17, 2025.

To request a Special Ballot:

  • Mail (during postal strike - see below) C/O Returning Officer - Beaver County, 5120 - 50th Street, Box 140, Ryley AB, T0B 4A0

Special Ballots MUST be returned to the Returning Officer no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, October 20, 2025, either:

  • In-person: 5120 - 50th Street, Ryley, or
  • Mail (during postal strike - see below): C/O Returning Officer - Beaver County, 5120 - 50th Street, Box 140, Ryley AB, T0B 4A0

Any ballots that are received late will NOT be accepted.

Special Ballots during the Canada Post strike: Special ballot packages will be mailed to the elector via courier (1 day express service) within 1 business day after receipt and confirmation of fully completed Special Ballot Request application forms.  The address to which it is sent must be able to receive courier deliveries, and a delivery signature will be required. The voter is responsible for the cost of returning the Special Ballot to the Returning Officer.  Special Ballot envelopes received "Cash On Delivery" will not be accepted.

Electors Register

Alberta municipalities are required to establish a Permanent Elector Register and use the Register of Electors from Elections Alberta as a foundation. The Provincial Register will be used to create a List of Electors for municipal elections.

As in past elections, Form 13 - Electors Register will be available at voting stations for individuals to complete who are not already listed on the Register. Please note that anyone who completes this form on Election Day will automatically be added to the Permanent Elector Register with Elections Alberta.
